HQM Properties is looking for a vibrant, energetic and passionate individual with an interest in property to join our property management team as a property manager.
 
This position would suit anyone with work experience in the property, hospitality and building sector who enjoys a variety of work demands on a daily basis. Anyone with a practical background who likes to be hands on would also be well suited to this position.
 
A lot of the time will be spent out of the office visiting our various luxury homes along the Atlantic Seaboard as well as in the Southern Suburbs to provide support services to home owners, tenants and holiday makers.
 
Roles and Responsibilities
 
The candidate will be responsible for managing a property portfolio of residential properties as well as assisting in growing their portfolio. He/she will be responsible to the company and its clients for the effective management, creation and control of to do lists on the portfolio.
 
Details include:
 
  • Conducting of weekly inspections and providing feedback reports.
  • Receiving instructions from clients and directors.
  • Liaising and scheduling of contractors to work at the properties for scheduled maintenance.
  • Inspection of work done by contractors.
  • Communicating status of property and status of tasks using company systems and other communication tools.
  • Record keeping of management hours and work done at the properties for accurate invoicing.
 
Candidate Requirements:
 
  • University Degree.
  • Punctual and a pro-active thinker.
  • Honest and trustworthy.
  • Practically minded.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • A good general knowledge of the Atlantic Seaboard and Southern Suburbs areas.
  • Have an eye for detail and good practical skills to deal with multiple problems that can arise at properties.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office to a high level.
  • Property & Hospitality Experience advantageous.
  • Need to be locally based in the Southern Suburbs, CBD or Atlantic Seaboard.
 
Other requirements:
  • Reliable own vehicle.
  • Valid drivers license.
 
Required Skills:
  • Construction.
  • Hospitality management.
  • Management: 2 to 3 years.
  • Property industry: 2 to 3 years.
